I like the post on http://priusonline.com/ that Toyota indicates that Prius is both singular and plural, like deer or sheep. I also ask myself what does Prius mean? My search shows me that "Toyota reminds us that Prius means “ahead of its time” in Latin."
I like two Prius cars but don't mind Prius as both singular and plural.
